I copied those directly from the Naver dictionary.  They look alright to me, although a little archaic (하였다 -> 했다 would be more natural; I’ll go back and change it.)  Is there anything else in particular that looks strange to you?

ETA - Looking at the second sentence, the Korean translation doesn’t have ‘second class’ anywhere in it that I can see, so I’ll take that out as well.  Damn you Naver!  I trusted you! :P
