전학생
The Transfer Student
At school, there was a child who was having trouble with bullying. She couldn’t take the torment and transferred to another school.
But might there not also be trouble with bullying at this school, too?
Despite these fears, the classmates and teachers were all kind.
-My name is A. I transferred from —- Elementary School. I hope things go well with you all.
-Thank you for introducing yourself, A. Um…A, please sit in the seat next to B.
At that moment, the children in the classroom shouted, “That’s the seat next to the ghost!” B didn’t mind that the children were teasing him and just chuckled.
When A asked the classmate in front of her, he said that a few years ago there had been a fire at the school, and B was one of the students who couldn’t escape and died. So if it wasn’t a school day, the students who couldn’t escape, including B, came back to school. Wait, did he really say that?
A thought that there must be ghost stories floating around every school, and went about her day.
Soon, the second day of her happy new school life dawned.
But when she went in her class, A was confused.
Wasn’t the teacher completely different from the one who came yesterday?
As she hesitated and wondered if she might have gone into the wrong classroom, the teacher told her to introduce herself and sit down.
In the confusion of the moment, she sat down as the teacher had told her to and vacantly wondered if she was dreaming…
When the teacher said that first period on Mondays was P.E., A thought the teacher had made a mistake about what day it was and checked her calendar. As soon as she did so, her face went as white as a sheet and she fainted.
Yesterday had been Sunday.
Then…what about yesterday’s classmates and teachers?
